Project summary
Injections needed to be designed and implemented to compensate for the subpressure in the railway tunnel vault/slab. This project was carried out with rail traffic in service and a structural and track geometry monitoring system was implemented to guarantee its safety.
Project details
Prism sections for automated topographical control were installed at the joints between the sleepers and rails for track geometric control, together with manual cant checks with a ruler. Clinometers located in the tunnel slab were used for structural checks.
