SOCOTalent programme for the co-tutoring of Bachelor's and Master's Degree Final Projects

The SOCOTalent programme is distinguished by its ability to fuse academic knowledge with practical experience of the world of work, offering students a comprehensive and applied perspective to their research projects.

In addition, this collaboration between the University of Zaragoza and the SOCOTEC Chair can open up new opportunities for students from any university by providing them with the possibility of applying their knowledge in real and current projects related to the scope of action of the Chair.

The program seeks the academic improvement of students, the development of their work skills, the stimulation of creativity and research.

Program Methodology

The session plan for the realization of the project will be organized in four key stages, providing guidance, information and ongoing support to teachers and students:

Objective: To provide detailed information to professors from various universities interested in participating in the program.

Content: Detailed explanation of the SOCOTalent programme, its objectives, the collaboration between SOCOTEC and universities, as well as topics and areas of interest. Opportunities will be presented for the participation of teachers in the tutoring of the projects.

Objective: To guide students in the planning and development of their projects.

Content: Presentation of the specific topics on which projects should be focused, the expected structure and examples of current projects within SOCOTEC. A complete overview of the process will be offered and questions from students will be answered.

Objective: To provide continuous support to students, resolving doubts and providing guidance during the execution of their projects.

Content: Interactive session where students can ask questions and receive advice to overcome any challenges they may face in the development of their work. Interaction between students and tutors will be encouraged.

Objective: To evaluate the progress of projects and discuss students' future perspectives in the field of sustainability and circular engineering.

Content: Final review of projects and discussion of possible improvements and development opportunities. Students' career prospects will be explored, highlighting how participation in the program can positively impact their future careers.

How to participate in the Project.

In order to participate in this project, it is a mandatory requirement to have enrolled in the 2023-2024 academic year in a university degree or master's degree and to be carrying out or have the predisposition to carry out a Final Degree Project/Master's Thesis.
