The objective, once again, is to award the best undergraduate and master's theses that address key topics such as sustainability, energy, water, materials, circularity, and/or the environment, fundamental pillars for both SOCOTEC and the University of Zaragoza, as a starting point for engineering to open up unique opportunities to guarantee synergies between industries through the application of the latest technologies with minimal energy consumption.

Consolidating talent in circular engineering
Fostering talent in circular engineering, the SOCOTEC Chair of Circular Engineering at the University of Zaragoza is a pioneer in Spain, dedicated to generating knowledge and promoting education in this field.
The second edition of the Chair's awards recognizes academic excellence and supports the integration of new graduates into the workforce.
The awards ceremony was presided over by Gloria Cuenca, Vice-Rector of Transfer at the University of Zaragoza, and Antonio Sánchez Gea, Director of Martí Riera and President of the SOCOTEC Chair of Circular Engineering.
