The hydroelectric power plant is located in the Chaica river basin, with an area of 85.56 km² and has a design flow of 10.00 m³/s. It is equipped with two horizontal Francis turbines, each with a flow rate of 5.5 m³/s, allowing it to generate a total power of 7,195 KW.
