SOCOTEC: Growth and sustainability, an essential pairing in its 2024 Report

Tue 26/08/2025 - 17:39

SOCOTEC has published its 2024 Sustainability Report, where it reaffirms its commitment to a responsible growth model.

This strategic approach integrates economic strength with environmental transition and the well-being of its people.

The year 2024 was a period of great dynamism for the Group. Revenue reached €1.476 billion, a notable increase of 12.8% compared to 2023. This success is due to organic growth and 18 new international acquisitions in key sectors such as infrastructure, energy, environment, and certification.

Sustainability has become the cornerstone of SOCOTEC's strategy. This is evidenced by the expansion of its Green Trust services, designed to guide clients and partners through their energy and climate transition. Revenue from these services accounted for 35.85% of the total in 2024, with an ambitious target of reaching 50% by 2028.

On the environmental front, the Group achieved a 14% reduction in its Scope 1 and 2 emissions between 2021 and 2024. This progress aligns its decarbonization trajectory with the SBTi parameters, with the goal of reducing emissions by 30% by 2028. The company is also actively promoting fleet electrification; in Italy, more than 25% of vehicles are already electric or hybrid.

SOCOTEC's commitment was also recognized globally in 2024. 69% of its employees participated in the Great Place to Work survey, reflecting the level of involvement and successfully accrediting the platform in Spain and Colombia with the 2025 certification. Furthermore, the Group was awarded EcoVadis Platinum certification in France and Italy for its outstanding ESG performance.

"Our fundamental objective remains the same: to build trust for a safer and more sustainable world. The strength of our results and the ambition of our CSR roadmap for 2028 confirm our ability to be a leading partner in the sustainability of the built environment."
