SOCOTEC has joined TECNIBERIA's "Female Engineers" project, an initiative to give visibility to female talent in the sector.
Through this project, several of our experts have shared their experience and vision on their careers in engineering and architecture.
The interviewees—Silvia Serrano, from the Energy Projects Department; Alicia Huguet, director of the Structures Department; and Inma Fortea, a specialist in Structures—have spoken about their professional development, the unique value they bring, and their personal vision of the profession.

Director of the Structures Department

At SOCOTEC, our goal is to give visibility to the women who are part of a traditionally male-dominated field. Their testimonies reflect the environment we foster: one where women not only have a place but are also encouraged to grow and inspire future generations of STEM professionals.
Engineering is in constant evolution towards digitalization, industrialization, and decarbonization. This transformation requires the unique talent and perspective that women bring.
