SOCOTEC collaborates in the Women in BIM event: "Women who build the future"
SOCOTEC collaborates as the main sponsor of the next Women in BIM (WIB) networking event that will take place on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at its headquarters in Barcelona.
Under the title "Women who build the future: Challenges and opportunities of BIM in Spain", the meeting will bring together professionals from the digital construction sector to share experiences, knowledge and promote female talent in the BIM (Building Information Modelling) industry.

The event will be attended by prominent figures in the sector such as Claudia Gaona Ávila and Monalisa Mendonça, representatives of WIB France and Spain respectively, who will welcome the institution. In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy a technical presentation by BIG and participate in a round table moderated by María Benítez Balseiro on the challenges and opportunities for women in the BIM sector in Spain.
Among the confirmed panelists is Laia Burgués, Project Manager and BIM Expert at SOCOTEC, who will share her experience with other professionals from renowned companies such as APOGEA, BIM Pulsa and WIB representatives from other countries.
