Support for Sustainability in Structural Engineering

For Socotec, it is an honor to support the ACIES Forum. We believe that this event is a unique opportunity for professionals in the structural engineering sector to share knowledge and experiences, and to discuss how to contribute to building a more sustainable future.

In our case, the Corte Inglés building, designed in collaboration with the Heatherwick Studio in Spain, in association with the local CLK Architects studio, is an example of our commitment to sustainability. The design implements the concepts of low carbon footprint and circularity, seeking a Zero Carbon design. This is achieved by using low-impact materials, implementing bioclimatic strategies, and optimizing the energy performance of the building.
