SOCOTEC strengthens its geotechnics and environment with the acquisition of Tecsol Geo
SOCOTEC has acquired Tecsol Geo, a consulting firm specialising in geotechnics and the environment.
The acquisition will allow SOCOTEC to strengthen its position in the geotechnics market and expand its range of services in the field of environmental protection.
"This acquisition is a strategic opportunity for SOCOTEC," explains Guillem Baraut, CEO of SOCOTEC, adding that "Tecsol Geo not only complements SOCOTEC but also provides a series of new activities that will generate synergies throughout the company in the field of renewable energies, the environment and particularly soil pollution. The union makes us grow both in sales and headcount, fulfilling our path towards the 2024-2028 business plan."
Tecsol Geo is a company with 25 years of experience in the geotechnical consulting sector. In 2023, it had a turnover of 1.3 million euros and have it holds the triple accreditation of EC-SOL for control accreditation of EC-SOL for control in the field of soil contamination prevention.
