Strategic Conference: Forging Business Sustainability through Environmental Innovation and Financing
In a concerted effort to lay the groundwork for an environmentally conscientious industry, CEOE Aragón and the SOCOTEC CIRCULAR ENGINEERING CHAIR are collaboratively hosting a summit poised to chart a course toward sustainability. In partnership with the Government of Aragón and GreenYellow, the event, titled "Progressing Towards a Sustainable Future: Financing the Decarbonization of Our Industry and Services," is scheduled for September 7th at 9:00 AM at the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Aragón.
Guided by the theme "Forging a more Sustainable and Environmentally Responsible Future Together," this assembly converges business luminaries, energy experts, and governmental dignitaries in a collective endeavor to realize the Sustainable Development Goals and attain climate neutrality by 2050. The pivotal foundations of the event center on curbing energy consumption and implementing sustainable initiatives. Noteworthy instances of business success will be showcased and examined, showcasing the feasibility of harmonizing economic growth with environmental stewardship.
The summit will kick off at 9:00 AM with opening remarks from Miguel Marzo, President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Aragón, and Ángela Laguna, President of the SOCOTEC Circular Engineering Chair at the University of Zaragoza. At 9:15 AM, Silvia Serrano, Director of Energy and Industrial Projects at SOCOTEC, will take the podium to delve into the "Imperative for Decarbonization and Tools for Financing."

The second expert panel, titled "Energy Services, Private Financing, and Success Stories," will commence at 10:00 AM, under the leadership of Silvia Serrano and Marcelino Oreja, President of GREEN YELLOW Iberia. Throughout this session, specific instances of accomplishments in the realm of private financing and energy services will be explored.
