The Catalan agri-food sector is constantly facing new challenges that require greater competitiveness, efficiency and adaptation to market demands.
In this context, the recent publication of the "Grants for the Improvement of the Processes of Transformation and Marketing of Agri-food Products" represents an exceptional opportunity for your company if you are looking to optimize your processes and enhance your growth.
Details of the 2025 call
This initiative, with a budget of more than 2 million euros, is aimed at individuals, legal entities and their groups that are responsible for food processing and/or marketing activities in establishments in Catalonia. You can apply from 18 April to 17 June 2025.
The subsidy includes investments between €40,000 and €5,000,000, with financial support ranging from 10% to 40% of the eligible costs, with a maximum limit of €500,000 per beneficiary. The chosen projects will be selected through a competitive bidding process, prioritizing those that demonstrate greater impact and viability.
What expenses does this subsidy cover?
Among the eligible costs that you can include in your project are:
- Construction, purchase or improvement of real estate, including the installations inherent to civil works
- Acquisition and installation of new machinery and equipment
- Development or acquisition of computer software, patents, licenses and trademarks
- Overhead costs linked to investments, such as architects, engineers, and consultants' fees
